INGILIZ BULLDOG HAKKINDA BILGILERI
Neden her köpek sahibi kendi dişi köpeğini
her şeye rağmen yetiştirici olmaya karar verdiyseniz her şeyden
önce bilgi ve sabır edinmeniz gerekecek. Ben sizleri
bilgilendirmeye devam edeceğim. İyi şanslar!
Dog show - what is it?
Most people think that the dog show-preplanned presentation, during
which the owners of the best dogs are awarded colored ribbons,
beautiful rosettes and prizes.
For many dog lovers this competition, bitter struggle with her
emotions and experiences of the only place that is worth all of these
experiences - first.
Each of these views is a grain of truth, but the real purpose of dog
shows is clear only with time, but fun to be among like-minded
professionals and experienced breeders exhibition - responsible
review-competition, which demonstrates the best of the breed,
identifies the best producers, capable improve the breed, bringing it
closer to the ideal described in the standard. The exhibition is
summarizing breeding for a certain period, we find out the quality and
the overall population. In addition, the dog show - an interesting and
enjoyable event for dog lovers and just. At exhibitions, meet children
and adults who share a genuine love for pets. Here, share experiences,
and who wish to purchase a puppy choosing future parents.
Exhibition and Trade Fair is associated with dog breeding. Novice dog
breeder is very useful to visit an exhibition at the beginning without
a dog to get acquainted with its rules (rules and procedures of),
carefully examine the tactics experienced breeders that after
examination of their own dogs willingly share their experiences and
gain valuable advice . Then show your pet to open several club shows.
And only gain experience, get ready to show your pet's, prestigious
events (international, national, regional and specialized mono-breed
show).
Training dogs to the show - it is primarily training for the show in
the show ring. You must teach your pet to the society of people and
dogs, how to behave on the street. After completion of the primary
vaccination course often print out a dog in a public place, take it to
travel by train, bus, plane.
The ability to be calm in the exhibition and not only - the most
important quality of a dog. Experts are very critical of the aggressive
dogs.
Experts estimate the appearance of the dog in accordance with the
requirements of the breed standard, examining it in the dynamic and
static. In training, in addition to characteristic of a pillar and
movements, teach your dog to the examination of the teeth (first
demonstrated bite, and then pulling the corners of her mouth, show
canines and premolars). Finally, wide-mouth dog, show his teeth. Males
expert also must determine if the testes. Using a leash, and for large
dogs (outside the ring) and a muzzle - the exhibition is mandatory. But
for the show in the ring are advised to take care of the brood
exhibition, "leash-walkers," or exhibition chain.
By following the general rules, pay attention to hygiene and aesthetics
- well-groomed hair, clear eyes and ears trimmed nails. Before the
show, you must also pay attention to the general state (condition) and
endurance dog. In the case of overweight do not keep it hungry and move
to a low-calorie food and increase exercise your pet. If, by contrast,
underweight, - enter into the diet of high-calorie foods, and if
necessary, conduct deworming.
Handler - a person who shows a dog in the ring, as is the object of
attention of an expert. His behavior he can regain or, conversely,
antipathy and expert audiences. Self-control, fitness, well-chosen
clothes beneficial influence on the overall assessment of the dog. To
date, the competition in many breeds reached such a pitch that we
completely revised their views on the breeding of dogs, their content,
show career. Claims to absolute victory in the ring in addition to the
beautiful exterior qualities, suggest another dog and perfect
presentation.
Art Handling is very multifaceted and requires many qualities. It is
not only the ability to correctly show dog in the ring. It is the
ability to see in young puppies of champion, anticipate its formation,
to be able to provide the right effect by choosing the correct diet and
training. Therefore, the handler than the knowledge of the breed
standard, the anatomy and physiology of dogs in general, should be
armed with information about the development of the breed and its
condition at the present stage, to have the eye of the artist,
intuitive feel and "see" each dog.
As already noted above, is not sufficient to bring the ring just a
beautiful dog, it is important to skillfully prepare and show it in the
best possible light, to leave rivals no chance of winning.Despite the
general trends Handling each breed has its own unique features, and,
accordingly, the show, for example, Cocker - Spaniel and the Bedlington
Terrier is different.
It is very difficult when choosing a puppy, with reliable accuracy to
say that he will grow out of "Star" rings. But the fact is quite
natural that in two-three months age anatomically correct puppy rack
itself takes the correct position. The secret here is simple with a
balanced addition of the puppy you to stand properly, that is, as
required by the standard. As a rule, such movements have a puppy will
also be correct.
Desirable that the puppy showed cheerful friendly without malice and aggressive temperament.
Art Handling - is knowledge, love and experience, coupled with the
talent. Do not get discouraged after a possible failure of the first in
the life of the exhibition, more engaged with the dog, exhibited her
friends, acquaintances, do not save money or time, it is, but for the
"training of exhibitions" and experience , and with it, perhaps, luck
will come.
All of us - from the novice owner, fully confident that his dog is the
best in the world, to an experienced breeder should regularly
participate in exhibitions, to know the opinions of different experts
about her dog. And today in a pretty tough competition for tribal
producers and breeders no better advertising than participation in
exhibitions.
We would like to contact the owners of good dogs that are at the whim
of their masters, or for some other reason do not take part in
exhibitions. Please keep in mind that even if you do have an
outstanding dog, she will not be bred until until it gets to the
official estimate of the breeding show. And it may be that your most
beautiful dog in the world could well have a positive impact on the
development of the breed, rather than spend all their time on the
couch. Believe me, there is little in this world is a phenomenon that
in the depth of emotions comparable to those seen among the winners of
the show ring descendants of your beautiful dog.
Do not forget that the exhibition - a competition, a sport, not a
matter of life and death, so think of even the most unexpected defeat
with a smile, as well as victories. There will be another day, another
show, another expert. Always be objective, not hulite other dogs and
their owners only for the fact that they won today, and your pet is
lost. Awards, the winners of applause, shake hands, congratulate them -
they deserve it.
Defeat really mean nothing to you and your dog, will she be after them
worse, and you'll be less to love her? And so it is less likely that
you will not love! Is not that the point?
Certainly, it is great luck to have a dog champion (this,
unfortunately, is rarely the case), but is only happiness lies in that?
Great gift of fate, when close to you many happy years living loved
one, delighting their health and giving you their loyalty and
friendship.
A good breeder
Reputable breeders share all information about their dogs and planned matings in advance, on their website that allows them to find the best possible puppy owners and establish a good relation before the puppy is purchased. Such breeders will have a clear and concise website where they show off their dogs with love and pride.
All photos and pedigrees will be posted on the website, you will be able to see the dogs pictured in the home environment and at shows. In fact, reputable breeders enter competitions to show their dogs. Look through the website and see how the dogs are kept and how their puppies are raised.
Does the breeder keep the puppies clean and in a sterile environment with adequate space, soft clean blankets and toys? Or are they pictured in crates on newspapers?
Does the breeder have a free website? How are the dogs presented on there? Is there a personal text / story about each dog? Do the breeders present themselves on there?Do they show the dogs and takes the pride in them?
Are they taken out of the kennel to socialize with people? Are there any photos which shows you trips to the Sea, forest and other places which will stimulate their mind.
In other words, the pictures tell more then 1000 words, look through the website and photos on there and you will get your answer quickly if the breeder breeds for the love of the breed or to make a quick profit where as little as possible is spent on the dogs .....
When you are looking for reputable bulldog breeders, you can begin by asking your veterinarian. Your vet is perhaps the right person to ask for referrals because he or she knows the history of the dog that comes into the clinic. Another reliable way of looking for reputable dog breeders is by calling your local Bulldog breed club. It would also be wise to go to dog shows and find reputable breeders there.
Look for a breeder who:
Breeds no more then four litters per year. Doesn't always have puppies available but will keep a list of interested people for the next available litter.
Takes only 3 c-sections per bitch in her life time according to the Kennel club guidelines.
Does not mate bitches under 18 months old due to maturity.Does send the puppies to a new home at the age of 8-9 weeks.
Allows you to see the mother with the puppies. Lets the puppies live in the house or have regular access to the home.
Encourages multiple visits before you take your puppy home.
Cares about what happens to the puppies they breed.
Has bulldogs who appear happy and healthy, are excited to meet new people, and don't shy away from visitors.Breeds only one or two types of dogs, and is knowledgeable about the breed standards (the desired characteristics of the breed in areas such as size, proportion, coat, colour and temperament).
Is well versed in the potential genetic problems inherent in the breed, there are specific genetic concerns for every breed - and explains to you what those concerns are.
Has a good and strong relationship with a local veterinarian and shows you the records of veterinary visits for the puppies. Explains the puppies' medical history and what vaccinations your new puppy will need.
Regularly vaccinates at the vets all their dogs
Gives you guidance on caring and training for your puppy and is available for your assistance after you take your puppy home.
Feeds high quality "premium" brand food.
Actively competes with her / his dogs in shows (which judge how closely dogs match their "breed standard").
Will work with clubs that specialize in their specific breeds
How to identify a good bulldog breeder
How do you know if a breeder is trustworthy?Good breeders don't sell their puppies to the first person who shows up with cash in hand. A good breeder has a waiting list.
A good breeder will not advertise their puppies in the paper or on websites like Epupz and similar!
A reputable breeder will never sell their dogs through the above mentioned sources or in any other way that does not allow them to thoroughly meet with and interview you to ensure that the puppy is a good match for your and that you will provide a responsible lifelong home .
Good breeders take care to select good parents for their puppies, provide proper health care, take time to raise a litter properly and put in a lot of effort to ensure they produce well-adjusted and healthy puppies.
Good breeders do not breed very often and do not breed to order.
They will be able to tell you when their next litter is planned so be prepared to wait - if you have chosen your breeder well, it will be worth it.
Good breeders will not take more then 3 c-sections per female in her lifetime.
Many breeders have chosen this path because they love their dogs. Unfortunately not all breeders produce puppies because they love the dogs.
So, you need to see or discover for yourself whether a breeder is in it just for the money, meaning they skimp on whatever they can to make a profit and they put each bitch through 4 or 5 c-sections. Or whether the breeder produces puppies because they love animals.
Here are some ways to help you learn this.
